How to help your toddler learn a language

Talking to your toddler during daily activities will help them learn the language. Here are some tips for communicating with your child.

Young children need time to absorb the language before they start to speak it.

  • Before they begin to speak the language, young children require time to observe the language.

  • Talking to your youngster about their everyday activities, such as "It's time to get dressed!" will be helpful. Put on your T-shirt, that's right, one arm, two arms!

  • It's important to practice.

  • When they are ready, your small child will begin to use the phrases.

  • Together, you can sing a song about your daily activities.
